Love Extra Bucks!!!

I am no extreme coupon person, but I do love saving money. In case you haven't figured out how to use extra bucks from CVS, let me explain how it is done.

I made four separate purchased this morning.
The first was on $19 worth of vitamins which I earned $10 extra bucks from.

I rolled that $10 extra bucks over to a make-up purchase of $15 which I earned $5 extra bucks on.

I rolled that over to a medicine purchase of $20 which I made $10 extra bucks on.

I rolled that over to a grocery purchase of $30 which I got a Shell gas card for $10.

If you can do the math--without using any coupons-just the extra bucks, I purchased $84 worth of product and paid $49. Now I also had $20 worth of coupons. Doing the math again I got an estimated $84 worth of items for $29. Not bad if I do say so myself.

The other advantage to CVS is that extra care card. I get a coupon via e-mail for 20% off my entire purchase about twice a month. Also I earn 2% back on every purchase. So, when I go to CVS, I print off coupons from the kiosk and get extra bucks back, along with store coupons that can be used along with a manufactures coupon. For instance I had a coupon for $5 off a $10 or more vitamin purchase which I used along with a manufacturer coupon I printed off the internet for my vitamin purchase today. Making my first purchase $13 for which I got $10 back for the next purchase! Pretty Cool!

Wish I had known about this a long time ago. I always throw away my CVS receipts and never have paid attention to the extra bucks.
