Start an Online Recipe File

Everyone has their favorite places to find a recipe. I have fallen in love with a website called allrecipies.

Why I like using allrecipies.com

1. A person can do a recipe search for a certain food while eliminating other foods. I started my own recipe file there this summer because of my inability to eat dairy and soy proteins. I could do a search for a pasta recipe that had no milk or cheese. And I found some good ones!

2. The website offers features that let me change the size of a recipe without any brain work. I can set it to make a serving size from 6 to 2, or from 2 to 90. It is great!

3. The website gives ratings for each recipe. I can look at a recipe and see how many people tried it and rated  it. It also tells me what people thought about it according if the recipe has one-to-five stars. I like knowing if something is going to be a flop or a treasure before I make it.

4. Allrecipes.com has a feature that allows me to log in and file recipes that I like-so I don't have to print them out, and can find them easily when I want to make them again.

5. I can Google any recipe or ingredient and there is always something to make. There are usually pictures of the product-which is a necessity for aiding in my cooking.
